Civil Defence

My life has been good after As with the excessive amount of spending and having fun. spent $230 plus to buy a ps2 so i could play to rot my time away whilst waiting to be enlisted into CIVIL DEFENCE. keenhong and gang came over to my place to drink whisky and that day got me drunk for the first time in my life. i wasn't that drunk, but drunk enough to see things i shouldnt be seeing and the world seemed kind of warped. the effects of alchohol are really potent, and i never want to get drunk again. lol, it makes you lose your sanity and brings you in a dream-like state. your body seems a whole lot lighter which is probably why drunk people never walk straight ( i couldnt walk straight too, btw ). you feel like the best kung fu fighter even though you know nuts about it and basically you become delusional. keenhong and debra were dead drunk.

then comes prom. prom night was a disappointment. the food was average despite the high price but the emcee (Flying Dutchman) was entertaining. i think everybody had a hard time identifying people because the whole lot just underwent an extreme makeover. i took few pictures, only those with guys and a few with alison/emmaline and my class people. i think right in total i only took 5 pictures. damn pathetic sia. could get the pictures i wanted to take.

on the 12th i was enlisted into C Def. i booked out a few days ago. its a ****ed up place. most people are either from some gang with tatoos from neck to toe and most of them are *****s . these people think they own the place just because they make up the numbers and they have 'backing' outside. alright, so be it then, but that is no excuse to be slackers, lazy ****ers who just know how to complain about everything and do nothing. there is so much to do during area cleaning, why? because the bloody ****ers act busy running from place to place with broom and mop in hand or hiding in some corner smoking.so we end up doing most of the work. And why can they do all these? oh, its because they have tatoos and 'backing' outside. i don't give a shit about all their 'backing' because that is still no excuse to be lazy and stupid. YA, STUPID. which person in the right frame of mind will make fun of the SERGENT right infront of his face. formal marching can laugh and play 1 anot? CANNOT LAH. but these mother ****ers do that and everybody gets the punishment. this is a message specially to these people "You are spoiling the image of your race. It's no wonder people look at you with contempt and prejudice, because you are doing this to yourself" while maintaining my stand that im not racist. i`ve seen some nicer ones in my camp as well. they`re nice, friendly, though they`re also from some gang outside with lots of tatoos, they work as hard as all of us and cooperate. i respect these people because they humble themselves. every night, i also always talk to a few of them and they`re quite merry people. they have a great sense of humour and they do agree with me that there are ****ers in the camp who will bring us all down. i want to go home every weekend and not spend my weekend in camp for something stupid im not responsible for. we nearly got that on friday because the ****ers are never serious abt anything. they want to spend their weekend in camp, fine by me, just don't drag me along with it. i really do like some of them. some of them are pro break dancers and always talk rubbish with me. respect.

anyway, other than the people, the system in place is good to us. we get to book out every friday at 530pm and in every sunday by 8pm. the food is GOOD. really good, i was shocked as well as my impression of army food was bad. we do get free time to relax in the bunk and that is much needed for all of us. but when training comes, we'd walk away from the training ground with lots of sweat and aching muscles. oh, i wake up at 4:20 every morning by the way, because we have to fall in by 5am and sergent wants us to be down by 4:45 . 15mins leeway for anything that crops up.
